If you’ve been subscribed to Life, Styled for a while, you’ve probably noticed it got quiet around here.

I didn’t ghost you. I just stopped writing before I knew what I was trying to say. And I’ve learned — slowly, the hard way — that showing up without direction isn’t consistency. It’s just noise.

So I stepped back. I let the page sit. And I spent the last few months building Joyhdae with more intention than I ever have — the content, the brand, the community — until something clarified.

Here’s what I know now: Life, Styled is a digital magazine. Every issue will feature a woman from my actual life who is building something real. Not a polished press release version of her. The real her — the one who figured it out in the middle of the mess, who styled her life with imperfect materials and made it look intentional anyway.

Between issues, this is where I’ll put the thoughts that don’t fit in 90 seconds. The Note to Self that needed more room. The thing I’ve been sitting with. The honest middle of a season I’m still in.

Something bigger is coming in April. The first issue is almost ready and I think you’re going to love who I’m putting in it.

For now — I’m glad to be back. And I’m glad you’re still here.

With love,

Joyhdae
